After graduating from a BA program in creative writing at the age of 42, I spent fifteen years writing for nonprofit organizations, regional and local lifestyle publications, local news outlets and various freelance business clients. With the advent of Covid-19 lockdown, I turned my attention to storytelling.

2023 was a big year! My first book was published in April, I found myself unexpectedly single, and in August I went back to campus to begin an MFA program at University of Arkansas. It’s true what I’ve been saying (and a lot of other people say): It’s NEVER TOO LATE. Shout out to George Eliot!
